My best friend and I usually catch up after work at least once a week. We go to our little usual place and have a drink and/or Food. But one day we noticed that on our way home appeared a new little café called Rifo’s Café situated at 933 Albany Hwy East Victoria Park.
Rifos is what I would describe as an Italian/modern Australian cuisine café. They have a great selection on the menu from all day breakfast (always handy to know for weekends), Italian dishes – which I highly recommend, salads and pizzas and pasta. Penne Pollo is devine!
The café is situated in the ‘burbs, however, it is of a high caliber. An open-plan design the café is very clean, relaxing, comfortable yet modern. I love places like this because you can keep an eye on the kitchen staff to ensure they are being hygienic hehe.
The pasta dishes are great. Sometimes I have been to other Italian restaurants where the cream sauces and even the tomato based sauces are too heavy. You get 1/3 of the way through your meal and you feel like you will not make it, not this place. The sauces are just perfect. Light, tasty and sufficiently thick to coat your pasta – this way you can actually enjoy eating an entire serving.
The staff is knowledgeable, well presented and friendly who always try to ensure you have a good experience.
The prices for mains are generally $18-$25. Personally I think it’s a little on the high side for a café out in the suburbs but I do think its worth it. We definitely have been back and are planning on returning very soon.
Open for breakfast lunch and dinner. I would highly recommend it for any meal.
Out of my 5 Chili rating I give it

you gotta keep an eye on those kitchen guys… never know what they’re up to back there. Oh and it seems as though your friend Craig and my friend Kenny should chat.
